Abstract

In recent, there is an increasing demand for improvement of facial aesthetic appearance. In spite of desire to improvement of their general appearance and occlusion, dissatisfied with the result after classic soft tissue surgery including rhinoplasty, face lifting etc..
The reason of dissatisfaction is disharmony of facial skeletons.
Malocclusion may elicit many functional disabilities in mastication, phonation beside undesirable facial contour.
The patient have a lot of difficulties in their social and psychological adjustment. Occlusal change by basal bone osteotomy have many advantages of treatment in malocclusion with resulting facial disharmonies.
